With a small piece of glass, laying down an undercoat is easy. With big pieces, it’s more difficult: the paint dries in one place before you’ve had the time to apply it everywhere. So what do you do? In this video, you’ll see an approach we often use.
The trick is to load the hake with a lot of paint then use it with a light touch so that it lays down fresh paint (as opposed to removing paint that’s already there). You also revive the paint that’s begun to dry.
