Glass paint mixed with water and gum Arabic is wonderful for many things but it’s difficult to shade with. That’s why we often change instead to Propylene glycol. It’s A-M-A-Z-I-N-G because it allows you to shade at your own pace and make adjustments as you go along. You can also use Glycol to add details or give new shape to your trace lines:
